A small back yard used for storage and not inviting, but full of sunshine and privacy. The clients built a sauna on the small deck and wanted to fill the space with colour. By creating a curved path and deep beds and using a trough of Bamboo to screen the deck it increased the feeling of size in the yard. Adding lots of spring bulbs and Acers for autumn colour the space is now welcoming.
